@ The Glue Factory 2012
The Glasgow edition of BYOB was set within the tank room of The Glue Factory which was transformed into an interactive object of moving image and sound. The largest, free IN/OUTdoor edition of Bring Your Own Beamer in the Netherlands is coming to Amsterdam.
FIBER, the organisation behind the Amsterdam based FIBER festival, Medialab SETUP from Utrecht, graphic designer Nick Liefhebber and Flemish Arts Centre ‘De Brakke Grond’ will be joining forces for this edition of Bring Your Own Beamer IN/OUTdoor.
Over 75 digital creative minds will be projecting their work on various locations at the Nes. Imagine alleyways, bikes, rooftops, through windows, onto steam, with sound and interacting with the audience. A digital gallery where the sky is literally the limit.
Experience and admire the IN/OUTdoor edition of Bring Your Own Beamer and support the artists using the unique live crowdfunding system.
BYOB NASHVILLE is an event taking place at Track One, September 7th, 2013 as a part of Arts & Music at Wedgewood/Houston gallery crawl. Nashville, Tennessee, USA.
We’re flooding the walls, ceilings, and floors with projected video art from some of Nashville’s most talented artists. Bring Your Own Beamer is a series of one-night-exhibitions curated by different people around the world, originated by Rafaël Rozendaal. The idea is simple: Find a place, invite many artists, ask them to bring their projectors.
The call for artists is still open. If you’d like to participate, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
